Repository Policy

The Singaporean Journal of Business Economics and Management (SJBEM) is a fully open access journal, committed to the broad dissemination and permanent availability of scholarly research. Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in institutional and subject-based repositories to enhance visibility and accessibility.

  1. Self-Archiving & Institutional Repositories
  • Authors may deposit their final published articles in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, personal websites, and academic networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Google Scholar).
  • All SJBEM articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, permitting unrestricted sharing and reuse with proper attribution.
  • When archiving, authors must include a full citation of the article and a link to the official SJBEM webpage.

  • Preprints: SJBEM does not accept submissions that have been publicly posted as preprints. Authors should avoid sharing pre-submission versions before or during peer review.
  • Postprints (Author’s Accepted Manuscript - AAM): Authors may archive the accepted manuscript after peer review, but before journal typesetting. Such versions should clearly indicate acceptance by SJBEM.
