Abstract

The technological revolution of electronics is completely changing the conduits of information and communication Information. Technology (IT) is providing almost more information that a lot of professionals in the Publishing Industry can cope with. Bok publishing is a highly information intensive activity, hence, in the great scope for exploiting diverse new information technologies in the origination, design, pre-press, production and marketing of published books. This revolution has transformed publishing processes, from manuscript acquisition through book production, marketing/distribution and financial accounting for economics of book publishing. This paper x-rays these developments and how they have added value in book publishing operations.
